Hello,

I’m Justice Behrmann, a Swiss Army knife Product Designer based in Denver.

I’m passionate about accessible user experience and agile product management.

I focus on integrating research analytics, current learning science and cognitive theory, and human-centered design in my practice. For the projects featured below, I’ve worked as an end-to-end designer, as well as managed specific components of projects as part of a larger team.

Why do I call myself a Swiss Army Knife? I’ve worked in several startup and consulting firms and have worked on a huge variety of projects and helped fill a variety of roles, from Project Management, Product Management, operations management and even video producing and editing.

I’ve done it all!

Projects

The last year I have spent working on a product team at a top-ranked LMS. In addition to leading the design of several features, I conducted an accessibility audit of the entire site and created and managed the associated changes, as well as managed a collaboration team between the engineering and design teams in order to help engineering get features quicker to market.

Before that, I worked for a consulting company which built custom e-learning solutions. At this company, I worked on short-term strategy engagements and multi-year product launches (and everything in between) in both the Product Management and UX Designer roles.

The projects I’ve worked on in higher education have included MOOCs on edX, free-standing courses on interactive platforms like Storyline, and design in custom instances of LMSs for Universities. These projects highlight my ability to collaborate with clients and manage content creator teams all while using iterative design approaches.
